u will lose compression right , does that mean ur car slower @ low or hi revs ??
or both ??

your car will have low compression. It may even stall out or idle really crappy when you stop the car. And the car will feel crappy through RPM band. But it really depends on how bad the compression readings are. If they are really low, the car won't even start up or have a really hard time starting up.

 

If lands bad, u suck oil right from the pan into the chamber. Car will lay out a smoke screen. Usually happens from mistuning with stock pistons

just a lil bit less responsive , prolly cuz too hot da weather

 

What's the compression? Have you physically checked the ringlands?

With that kind of compression, your rings are fine. If your smoking blue, your oil control rings may be seizing up or perhaps you have leaking valve seals.

 

How much are the rings, say for one piston (96 GSR)? How about the labor? Does it take long to do?
