Default if piston rings are going out soon, will it do anything to the head?

what's the worst that could happen? i've read many people drive around with blown ringlands and such...

dont know about the head, but you could do damage to the cylinder walls and that can be costly (happened to me and it had to be bored over .20 and new pistons )

It shouldn't mess up the head. It will mess up the cylinder walls. It will also burn lots of oil. oil burns hotter than gas, soooo it could burn a valve.

ya ive been boosting hard with broken ringlands for about 8 mths now and I plan on putting my head on my new block. you should be fine as long as your tuning is in check.

your plugs will be soaked in oil too
