Default Idle Surge

I have finally got all of the issues with my supercharger install
solved except one: I have a a "surge" at idle. While idleing, the
rpm's sruge from idle (about 900rpm) to about 1400 rpm, then back.
I thought the problem might be the air temp. switch and the new
relay, so I checked the circuit and the switch, both seemed fine. I
plan on checking the idle air control solenoid tonight, but it seems
wierd it would pick now to go out.

Any ideas?

I had same problem. Come to find out The car was to lean at idle.
Turned the fuel up at idle(v-afc) and I don't have the problem no more.

Well, first I checked for vaccum leaks. Sprayed carb cleaner on every connection and all over the intake manifold circuit, absolutely no change. I then checked the IAC circuit: When I disconnect the IAC connector, the idle immediately evens out. It doesn't decrease, just even outs? I checked the connector, battery voltage at the black/yellow wire. I then ohmed the IAC valve itself; zero ohms when warm. The book says it should be 5-8 ohms. Sound like a bad IAC valve?
