identify this turbo
how new is it?
it looks like a gt28rs with atp's drop in for the turbine...
the gt2871 uses a 71mm wheel...
the two turbos do look pretty much identical though..good luck

Does your buddy have any other $1100 turbos laying around that he wants pocket change for? Sounds weird that he would just have a gt28 "laying around" and not know what it was. But whatever his loss you gain. Now run 20 psi.

I thought it was weird as well, promised repeatedly that it was legit, something about a shop went out of business and he got it off them or some **** like that
