Default ID this turbo and what kit it's from......

I was going to use this turbo in a diy turbo kit but it will not fit right so I need to know what it is exactly so I can find what car it bolts too. TIA

- it's a Garrett turbo from some type of bolt on kit. Internally gated. It says Garrett on both comp and turbine. The wheels both look small diameter like 45-50mm at the open end.

turbine AR - .64
compressor Ar - .80

it says M3 on the turbine and M-24 on the compressor

the compressor has as 3 bolt outlet flange like some t25s (a 90 degree elbow was included). the comp intake is a 2 bolt flange.

the turbine has a small rectangle inlet flange like a shrunk down T3 (same proportions). The outlet of the tubine is a 5 or 6 bolt flange with an O2 housing about 9 inches long that comes down diagonally from the turbo and has 2.5" ID 3 bolt flange. there are 2 threaded bungs in the housing one looks like and 02 or egr and the other for egt maybe, it's smaller.

I would love to know what this fits so I can sell it or find a better use for it. thanks

Sounds like a T25/T28 similar to the one on the 3.1 turbo Grand Prix.

Post up a pic?

Whoa.. Joey back from the dead.. He is probably right.

Its sounds to me like one of the odball units garret made for the factory.. Your not gonna find a manifold that it will bolt to..

Actually, Lunatec in Cincinnati has two such turbos from a Nissan of some nature, I want to say they came off of a TT Skyline. Regular T25 turbine inlet and outlet flange shizzle will work, the three bolt compressor exit and such will have to be fabbed. Shawn, who works there, posts here sometimes, he has a Holset HX 35 powered GS-R. A simple search would put you in touch with him, I forget his username atm.

It is not exactly like the T25 on the turbo Grand Prix... I drove back out to look at it, it has slip-on fittings for the compressor, .82 AR turbine.

what trim might it be? Does it sound like it would be good for any honda engines? It has roughly the same proportions as my T25.

It looks like this may be a new turbo. Are there any physical signs to look for to see if has been remanufactured or if it is new?

Can I e-mail a pic to someone? I'll get a couple tomorrow.

thanks guys
