Default IC piping size

generally do you keep the size of the IC piping constant through out? or do you want it to increase in diameter right before it enters the TB? do you want it bigger going into the intercooler or after or keep it consistent? also, for 7lbs of boost is 2.25" too small? thanks

2.25 is fine, remember bigger isnt always better. Theres a good thread on piping where art had a good theory on piping diameter. Im sure someone will post the link. Im going to run 2.25 to intercooler and then 2.5 out to t/body

2" does not cause any restriction until almost 300hp, so 2.25 is perfectly fine. My only suggestion is that you step up to 2.5 someplace on the upper charge pipe so that it is close to the same size as the TB inlet (I know 2" is smaller and 2.25 might be) for optimum flow.
