Default IC couplers...

So I am looking around for couplers but I am having problems. From TB to turbo, here are the sizes I need:

2.5 (2.7@rib)->2.25, 2.25->2.25, 2.25->2.5(ic), 2.5(ic)->2.0, 2.0->1.5(maybe 2" @ turbo)

Here are the main options I see:

Rubber Plumbing couplers

They dont have any that fit anything. The 2.0" (the plumbing couplers are measured for the ID of the PVC they fit over, so 2" coupler has ~2.5" ID) couplers fit the TB, but thats it. I can clamp them down a ton to fit the 2.25 pipes, but I dont want to do that. Also, I cant get the 1.5" couplers over the 2.0" pipe. And sizes in .25" increments dont exist (1.75" please?). Ugh. $3.50/piece.

Silicone couplers

I can get all the stuff I need, but its crazy expensive. I am fine paying $6 a piece for the straights, but I need 4 transitions and they are ~$18 a piece (@ atp turbo anyway)!! Then I'll need 10 clamps ($3/ea at napa). So It'll be roughly 6+18*4+ 10*3 = $108!!

Does anyone have any other solutions? I'm sure there are folks running small IC piping like this. What did you do about all the transitions?

I got mine from LSD motorsports for 78 shipped with T bolt clamps I ordered: 2 2.5-2.25 reducers, only 1 2.25" coupler, 1 2.5"-2" coupler, and 2 2" couplers. and all the neccesary clamps

You're a badass. I am fine paying $11/ea for the transitions. And I realized I only needed 3... Order placed at http://www.siliconeintakes.com/.

if you plan out your setup better you wont need more than one or 2 reducers at most. I have one on mine, just coming out of the turbo.

If you can weld, you can use pre-expanded pieces of tube to bring the end of each section up or down to the next one. metal is WAY chaper than silicon

Those will probably work for you, but just to clarify a few things. Those are purely silicone couplers.....soft rubber style that will wear out and have a tendency to get ripped or torn when clamping down. Hoses from a company like http://www.turbohoses.com have fiberglass reinforcements to keep the coupler from getting killed. That is one of the primary reasons the hose you found are so cheap in comparison to others out there.

Meh. I went with different small piping for a reason. I can weld, but the silicone is cheaper than my time and argon. Plus I couldnt do any welding to help my need for 3 reducers. I'm not about to weld a reducer onto the IC or the TB.

Blown90hatcH, thanks. I totally didnt see that. Oops. I think they will work for the time being. I will just be careful.

I just got 48" of 2.25" ID 4-ply silicone hose for $32 shipped off ebay. Thats $0.67/inch. You can also find quality SS t-bolt clamps for ~$2/ea off of ebay. The ones I got a year ago really supprised me - etched onto them all was "Made in Ohio, USA".

If you look carefully, that silicone intakes place uses 3 or 4ply fiber-reinforced hoses. As long as it's 3-ply silicone, it can easily take 10psi from a normal honda setup.
