Hi guys. this is the 2nd time my oem plastic IAT sensor melt. any idea how to solve this problem? my s300 need the IAT reading for fuel trim.

I'd suggest you do the OBD2 method of locating just before the T-body. But there seems to be a bigger problem - most plastics melt at well over 250F, which is what your coolant should be at the most. If you can boil water on your IM, you have a serious heat issue - either producing too much, or not being able to cool it enough. Honda heads have coolant passing around the intake ports in the head, so it shouldn't be getting that seriously hot.

thats the only way it will melt! open up your ecu and most likely u will see on of the transistors for the purge solenoid burnt up. plug in the IAT sensor plug ( i believe its the red/white wire and green wire) to the IAT temp sensor
