Default IAT concern

ok, i got a turbo kit sitting i have ran it before, it ran decent, (untuned ) but i have a question, what should i do about the IAT sensor? should i mount it in the charge pipe? make a hole for it or somthing? or is there a way to trick the computer?

I Use a civic 92-95 IAT , they aree mounted right into the intake , so i did a hole and nolted it there !

on my si it ran to the factory intake, but now i have it hooked up on a vac line.

and you wouldnt want to trick the computer anyway, the ecu adjusts fuel and timing based on the intake temps. so you dont want it to be tricked. otherwise, it might go boom.

Drill and tap a hole in your charge pipe.

i have an AEM iat in my charge pipe.
