i think i solved my h22a problems
i think my hesitation days and tuning problems may be over with my h22a accord.
the guys at the shop helped me tune it a bit more with a few runs up and down the block (commercial district). anyway, the car feels very strong now. unbelievably strong actually. there is no hesitation whatsoever. i added a 10:1 fmu and did some more fuel/timing changes. the car does run extremely hard just only upto 5000rpm.
i couldn't push it anymore then that that because my boost was spiking to 10psi. i must have hit 10psi at least a good 5-6 times today. nervous but oh well. my vaccuum lines are a bit screwy right now as my manual boost controller was giving me some problems. but i should be back at the shop tomorrow to settle that.
i'm going to try to get to a dyno this upcoming week or the following. i'll post as soon as i do.

Well, I hope you get everything worked out. Let me know what problems you encounter. I just bought a Turbonetics T3/T4 for my H22Accord. Hopefully I can get it in and running soon.

Re: i think i solved my h22a problems (carguy)
exactly, the car just doesn't pull as hard from 5000rpm-up. i have no idea why. the car just moves like crazy when it's not in vtec. i might try disconnecting the vtec for now and see what happens. or move the vtec engagement point up near 6000rpm or above.
hondata or dfi is definitely in order at this point.

bgod,
i think i've already told you this....but your about 2 steps behind. Search for some posts that i created regarding hondata and what not and you'll find some answers to bring you up to speed on the current h22a situation.

Re: i think i solved my h22a problems (Purelude)
no, i knew about the h22a problems. i just figured that since i'm a new turbo guy i'd post up my reviews of my own kit.
i know what's going on with your hondata too. i've been on the phone with doug in cali and steve from sgt racing in virginia.
