Default i need your help H-T

i know this may come as a stupid question but here goes.

ive been looking into adding a turbo to my AUTO ls integra. ive been running into issues with fuel management and other things because of the tranny. i only wanted to boost at about 7-8 psi.

got to thinking ... what about a supercharger?

so the question in hand is this ..... (this is what sounds really stupid) .... will an SC at 7psi make the same power as a T at 7psi?

i know the SC is a little more expensive but from what i have learned its easier for an auto tranny. and im willing to look around for good deals and possibly a used kit.

i just need a little direction here on how to get more power out of the car with forced induction.

and no i will not swap for a 5speed.

your answer to this question is no, the parasitic draw of a supercharger is higher than a turbo. that means it takes more power on a blower to make power. once you get past that boost is boost. if you keep the boost low and limmit the ammount of boosted holeshots you do, your tranny might last a little while.

what are the good superchargers for a non-vtec motor?

ive done my homework on turbos and its just not worth my money and/or time to turbo my automatic.

that is why i am leaning into a supercharger.
