i need your feed back
here is my dilema. my kit has been sitting in my room for a few weeks now and i finally got every little thing i need to hook it up except for proper fuel managment. wat i wanna know is if i can just slap the kit on and run minimal boost with an FMU and my walbro 190. i know how an FMU is not the best thing but i just wanna know if i can do this just to get me started.
the reason why i am kinda in a rush is because i am in the airforce and i will be deploying to the desert here in the near near future and i wanna get the kit up and running before i ship out.
my ultimate plan tho is to run the "hack", which i am currently saving up for. i just wont have all the money before i leave.
if you need the details i will be running the max rev kit (t3/t4) on my d16y8
let me know if i will be safe to run around town with just the FMU and my 190..........thanks!

There are a lot of people that use an fmu and fuel pump for low boost applications. I like the afc and bigger injectors because you dont have to worry about fuel pressure, but if you can keep the boost down I would say go ahead and put in the afc when you get the money.
