I bought a jackson racing supercharger and dont know anything about what I need. Putting it on a d16a6 and dont know what a certain sensor is. It has a black cap and two wires coming out of the top. If you look inside it looks like there is some type of valve in it. If you have any idea what it might be give me a shout. Thanks

Its on the supercharger. Right next to the blow off valve.

 

Unless jackson has drastically changed its design, there is no blow off

 

Im sure he ment the by-pass valve smartass lol

Sadly I dont know lol. I have only worked on B-series..I will look into it for you though.

 

Im sure someone here will know. I would say a purge solenoid??

I think 92hb is right it is a purge valve from the stock intake manifold that looks like it but your looking at the bottom of it in this pic . Look at the hose it is shaped exactly the same as the one in the other pic
