I need to know.........
does anyone know if the 88-91 zc dohc head will fit on to a d seriers block?? i have heard that the bolt pattern for the two is the same, but would like to know....
i know i will need another timing belt and all that stuff........

i have no idea...however..I did ear from a teammate of mines..saying you can put a B series head on a ZC...
The ZC and D-series head gaskets are the same, so logic would assume that
its possible.
Hey sgt, are you sure that they are the same??? i thought that they were also that is why i need to know for sure though...........i really need a promising answer.

Any SOHC D series block will not accept a DOHC D series/ZC DOHC head without some work. The hole for the bolt near the the #1 cylinder is moved slightly. It will require some modification to the head or block as well as the headgasket.
I tried putting a D16A6/Y8/Z6 head onto a D16A1 (86-89 Integra DOHC) and I ran into this problem. I decided to stick with the DOHC Integra head.
