I have an IHI that blows a shitload of oil out the exhaust. I have no idea where to go to get this thing rebuilt or have new seals put in... Anyone have a shop that they like that I can send this thing to? I live in New England.

 

Is this for a WRX? From what i've seen, there aren't any shops that have the parts needed to rebuild IHI (at least the BB ones). Which one do you have?

It's the one from the Mazda 323 GTX... VJ14. I believe the RF22 is from the WRX...

 

I don't know the VJ's. Is is BB (either type)?

No, it's a floater bearing. The VJ series came in some early 80's Isuzus, and mid to late '80's Subarus, Mazda 323/ 626 GT, and 1st gen Probe GT turbos. The VJ 14 came in the 323, while the VJ16 came in the Probe/ 626, and I'm not sure what trims came in the Subees and Isuzus. But they're all the RHB5 VJ series.

I have a VJ11 just sitting around in good to great condition. Worked perfectly in my friends car before he took it out. I also have 2 exhaust housings. 1 with a t-3 looking flange (same bolt pattern, but the inlet needs to be widened). and the stock one. Make an offer if you want it.
