i had the top end built up to run turbo(bigger valves,turbo cam,port work and bigger fuel pump) car ran great on stock bottom end till it blew up.
now,i did 9:1 piston and rods i broke the engine in without the turbo. but now it seems that the engine wont rev past 4500rpm.
do you guys think the reason might be cause i have the head setup of turbo use and have no turbo hooked up to it yet and thats why its not reving past that4500 rpm.
i really need your info or any ideas on this before i junk the dam car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Don't think so, it should probably just be a slug on the low end if you have big valves and ports though..running w/o turbo that is

 

Depends on how you mean "wont rev past 4500" does it rev limit? what?
