Ok guys,
i am wanting to know if i can put the crank and rods out of a 92-95 civic EX/SI ( d16z6) in to a 88-91 ( d16a6 )........
The reason i am asking is because i have a set of crower rods, and arias pistons, and an EX crank, that i would like to stick in this block..... (i want to send it out to get it sleeved,but i dont want to spend the $ if the crank and rods wont fit into the block!) And the A6 is suppose to be the strongest D16...


another Q, is will the 88-91 block bolt into my 92-95 hatch???if i put my mounts on this motor??? will my mounts fit this motor??

I'm not personally sure, but look for MistaBone and ask him..
He is knows the sohc's pretty good.

The CRX group there has more detailed info on the D16A6 than anywhere else. mista Bone is more a tranny guy than a rebuild guy. There is a guy named Steve on there who will know your answer for sure. he has played with all flavors of D16 for years.
