This is on an EG I speak of.
on a 3" thick intercooler, even if you cut the grill out completely, it may not still fit.
The piping off the intercooler wil hit the front bumper also, where the fog lights go.
Just hang the intercooler where you think it will go, and hold the bumper up to the car, see where you need to shave and go at it.
Again, if this is an eg, it prolly wont fit. I had a hella time getting my JRC 2.75 to fit.

ever think about selling it and getting something smaller???
Honestly, you don't need as big of an intercooler as you think, especially for a daily driver
a smaller one from JRC or there's a new hotness everyone's talking about but I don't remember their name will do fine, they are cheap too.
Mine was under $200 and I have almost 350whp at the moment.

i have a 27"X6.5"X3.5" front mount and i didnt want to cut out any bumper support to keep the structural initegrity of the front end. I had to CUT THE **** out of the bumper to the point where its just a plastic mask over the front. Its grill- less but i think it looks badass.
