ok, thats cool and all (im doing the same thing you are, acftually) but how do the safc, the fmu, the cyerbnation blackbox and 650cc injectors get along? your air/fuel ratio must be all over the place, not to mention your ignition timing must be fucked

^^^nooooo you need high speed muffler bearings

But to answer you question: Do a bunch of research of other peoples setups. I'm amazed no one said "search" yet. But just look at what others have to do that. You need to re-work a lot in your current setup.

525whp in that car with a great driver and them 18" will barely net u a low 11 never the less a straight 10 second pass. please tell me he brings 10 set of axles to the track so he can pull of 9 runs and go home with nothing but grease ... do some more research man .. ( search ) ... you my friend are far from your goal .. and this is not a hate post...

10 bucks says with 650's, a FMU, SAFC, and the cybernation black box that jalopy wouldn't even run to the bottom of your driveway And 10's on 18" DR's in a FWD car arn't happening, so you might as well quit now.

wow...everyones really helpful....what kind of rods and pistons ya have? what compression? specs on t3/t4 ya have?

What engine are ya running i never saw it listed. Also a hondata s300, or neptune engine management system will work beautifully for engine management.

I would agree the stereo would most likely have to go. Unless ya probly sleeved the block and went all out and had enough power...

But remember, every 100 lb's of weight is about a tenth in the quater mile.

and slicks...

The plan so far then is to go with the gt35r turbo, 1000cc injectors, hondata, the best tuning I can get, some drag radials and all the carbon fiber pieces I can find.

WTF you don't put a name brand on something and the jokes come rolling in... Yeah carbon fiber pieces, so far I've got the hood and hatch, I can get the mirrors and ground effects but I'm more worried about the doors and fenders. Most of the outside of this car will be c/f. And maybe some more NEONS!!! LOL J/K!!!

In the 1/8 mile ?

with your current setup your not going to run 10's period. Bigger injectors, and bigger turbo don't equal 10 sec 1/4 mile passes. Instead of buying all these parts, you need to research out find out what works for you.

It's not the name brand thing, it's that you think that enough CF parts will help you run 10's. You're not going to save that much weight with CF, that's why they're joking.

If you look at the link, the RSX you're referring to doesn't run 10's yet. They hope to. Best they've done is 11.8 at 350hp. There is a huge difference between 11.8's and 10's. At 520whp, they definitely could do it with the right tires and maybe taking some stuff out of the interior. Definitely not on 18"s though.

Default Re:

Someone needs to cut this kid a ******* break....

The answer is to get atleast 500+whp.....
Buy a set of 15's to put some DR's on....
And get a as much seat time as you can.

It would be nearly impossible to make a full weight RSX run 10's using 18's

Do yourself a favor and keep the ICE and show mods out of the technical go fast posts.... you'll find people a lot more willing to offer real advice. As funny as 15 tired *** "fast and furious" jokes are ... I bet all you really want is some advice on how to run 10's. It is possible, you just need realize it isn't going to happen with all your show **** strapped down. That **** has to go when you're actually racing.
