I made a mistake....
I think I made a mistake going with the hack instead of hondata
It just seems like trying to "sneak" around the map sensor is not the way to go , also with ignition timing issues with the hack. I want a hondata system now. What ECU will work with a 2000 Civic Si? P28? I am confused, do I need an ECU with VTEC on it, like the one out of the del sol? I am looking into the s100 with boost, is datalogging necessary? Does anyone have a chipped ECU with hondata that they are willing to sell? thanks

Yeah a p28 ecu will work, you also need the obd2-obd1 harness, datalogging isnt necessary, but it can be helpful, it depends on your personal needs are, if you are going on a lowest cost plan, you dont need datalogging, but remember, you still have to tune it.
Good luck

alright, i see there is many ECUs that I can use, but is one ECU better than another one? Does one work better? like does the p28 work better than the p30? or does it matter what ECU is used?
