I love hondata
What else can i say... i installed my 720cc's, paxton FPR, and hondata 4b... and it started RIGHT up. I am amazed, no problems whatsoever other then the 3bar map sensor wiring. To the dyno i go friday, on monday ill share my dyno charts Also, how long does it take for the laptop to connect to the datalogging program? I let it go for about a minute or so and it still was in the process of connecting...

Re: I love hondata (Firedrake)
Brian,
What would you suggest we charge?
On the contrary, the Hondata dealers that have purchased a minimum amount of the product from us, purchase this (priced retail at about $1020) for just $300 discount.
There is a new Product line is because there are new features - and at a lower price. This new hardware and software has taken 10 months to produce.
To our friendly mexican terrorist:
Check your serial port settings and make sure you have an interface box labelled 4b.

Re: I love hondata (Hondata)
I actually take back my previous statement now that I read the site closer I thought you were charging the $300 for a simple software upgrade to V3, but then I realized that it included a new box for the s200.....I read this........
Hondata dealers are defined as having sold more than 5 units or having purchased a stage 4 with boost system after 1st July 2002. For an upgrade fee of $300 Hondata will provide:
A new s200 system with boost and datalogging.
ROM Editor V3
HondaLogger V3 registration to datalog all s200 systems.
The dealer must keep their Stage 4 system to tune Stage 2/3/4 systems for existing customers.
......And didn't think that the "new s200 system" meant an entire new interface box....so anyways on me You'll be getting our $300 in the next couple weeks....
I have a friend who just got a stage 4 system recently, and got an email from him that was very bitter about just having bought his system and now a new one is available.......apparently he called 2 months ago to order and was informed by someone over there at hondata that no new systems were going to be released for a while, and that if they were the upgrade would be free.....so he's pretty annoyed that now 2 months later it's going to cost him $300 to upgrade.....maybe I should tell him to call you and work something out?

Doug,
Do you see the Hondata system ever being able to support more than 29lbs? I want to run the stg4 but I was curious if the Hondata team has looked into possibly increasing the boost capability with corresponding fuel columns..?
Thanks!

Re: I love hondata (Dublocivic)
Can you verify that the upgrade for the users will be $175 for 2b users regardless of how old the unit is? Or is it just for users with the second generation 2b models? Thanks.

Re: I love hondata (Anubyss)
For any stage 2 owner. As far as boost pressure, we have had no requests for more than 29. We could do it but I doubt it would sell enough to justify our time.

Ok say I was to use the stg4 like I have planned and I was in need of more than 29lbs (I dont think I will) but if I was to, this would be a possibility then?
Thanks Doug
