I got ripped!!!
I recently won an auction on ebay for a full drag turbo kit that was used but seller said that it was only used for about 50 miles. anyways the idiot only sent me half of the items, he sent the turbo, manifold, wastegate, intercooler and all piping, bov and down pipe. The items that he did not send were 3 greddy gauges, greddy boost controller, greddy turbo timer, greddy e-manage, and already tapped oil pan. I have reported him because he will not return any of my emails but I figure I will never get the rest of my stuff. What I basically need to know if what I need to get this turbo on my stock gsr hatch. A friend said that injectors and hondata would be enough to get it running. Is this true? or is there anything else that I would need? Please any help would be appreciated. also is there anywhere on this site where I can report people who screw other people? I'm not sure if he is a honda-tech member or not but just incase, thanks
besides the little things like oil lines and tapping your oil pan and you need a fuel pump. that sounds like thats all you need.
oh yes and the injectors and the hondata.(which is better than the e-manage IMO)

Unfortunately, Paypal only works if he never received any parts. They won't intervene if the merchandise is "not as described" which is the case here. He got a kit, just not the described kit.
rwcdrums, did you use a credit card to fund your Paypal account? If so, you may be able to get a chargeback going and get your money back. Paypal will probably lock your account for going over their heads, but it's worth a shot since this is a large sum of money.

yes, but if he used a visa credit card or debt card as the source of the funds, then he can contact VISA and they can work with him. I purchased some wheels a couple years ago and paid with visa/paypal. The were stated to be in excellent condition, but ened up being beat to crap. I tried returning them to him, but he refused. Called visa and got all my money back and got to keep the wheels!
Right, if it's funded through a credit or debit card, there is a chance of getting the money back through a chargeback/complaint. If it was through just Paypal balance, then Paypal is worthless.

contact your bank... have lotsa documentation ready.. a printout of the auction page, pics of what you received, MSRP of the items you did not receive ETC. They will give u a fax number to fax a letter (spend some time on writting this and make it very professional) and the documentation to. After 1-3 months, u might get some or all of ur money back
will my bank know what I am talking about when I mention a "chargeback" complaint...and if my money is refunded who refunds it? the seller or bank? thanks for all of the info guys!
yeah, just call them and tell you want to speak to someone in charge of chargebacks.
If the money is refunded, the bank reverses the charge and paypal takes it from the selles account if availble, or make the sellers account go negitive
