Default this is an HX-35.............. right???

i bought this turbo, and i'm VERY sure it's a HX-35, though not COMPLETELY.. .. it's got a smaller twin scroll exhaust housing, with a 5 bolt, internally wastegated, V-band flanged exhaust housing, and a ported intake shroud... all the pictures i've seen of the HX-35's match this.. i'm prepared to rebuild it if necessary, and compared to the price for which the most recent one i bid on went for (451 +shipping), i'm pretty happy for getting this for 255 +40 shipping from a 100% seller..

now HERE is the reason i ask.. the tag doesn't have a model number. if it's a little smaller than a HX35, i'm fine with it, because honestly the 35 is just a LITTLE above my HP goals.... if it's bigger, it will be for sale soon!

thanks for your help.. later,

It is either a 34 or a 40 and it looks like the turbine wheel is wet with oil. You might have a turbo shop look at it brfore you install it.

never heard of a 34, so i'm guessing you mean 35 (NOT being a smartass), and i'm prepared to have to rebuild it, i mean, it IS ebay after all lol..i've got a LONG way to go before i install it.. as soon as i get it, i've got to send it off to RLD so he can custom fab me a twin scroll manifold... i'm just happy to FINALLY get started on this part of the build on the car after almost 3 years!!!

I looked there and it doesn't have your serial number listed but that doesn't necessarily mean it's not an hx35...it's part numbers are very close so odds are it's just off an odd year and isn't listed but you might want to measure it and see if you can match up the specs..if you really care that much lol
