hpc coating for forged piston?
I have the Endyn pistons (FI 9.5:1) and I'm wondering if I should bother getting the hpc coatings. http://www.hpcoatings.com/
Has anyone else used their stuff. I'm not looking at it as a power adder, more for longevity. Is this overkill or is the forged piston enough? They charge 130 for and four pistons so the price isn't outrageous. Don't get me wrong, I dont' have money to burning a whole in my pocket. Hell I'm 6000 in the whole and I'm not even running yet. And no Endyn haters please.

I was going to get the Swain coating on my JE pistons, but I heard too many horror stories about cracking. If you get the slightest crack in the top of the coating you get heat buildup and ruined pistons.
Only recommended for engines that are going to be overhauled fairly often.
