hp restriction???????

ok i see everyones points, BUT, i have the same setup as many high 300 and low 400 whp guys, and its just not making the numbers or hte traps!!!

i was losing boost the last time at the dyno due to a torn wg diaphram, but i jsut dont understand why the hp flatlined like it did, it acted as if something else was restricting airflow, since their were no real ups and downs in the powerband...

right now im running a brand new tial diaphram, tial 10psi spring (big yellow) and a turbosmart mbc, and the boost no longer falls off, so i guess im going to still try and borrow an ebc and see how it goes with that...

I think I explained this to you like 3 times. If you loose boost, you loose tq.. thus flatlining your HP. Just take a look at the damn Hp equation and you will understand.

what i was saying is that i think you stand to gain whp with a tubular manifold over log with minimul spool loss....and i feel its a give and take, if you make just say 50whp over log with tubular, you lose slight spool but gain 50whp which makes up for it

i got ahold of a new forge mbc today from a buddy,so hopefully that helps some, i know the turbosmart iwas running has been "modded" so im hoping its good now...

im going to invest in an avcr whe ni get the cash
