Is this HP possible with the JR??
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=272063
I'm thinking about buying this setup for my 94 GSR.It is a JR supercharger with a 3b hondata and 440 injectors. He says it makes 247 whp. I haven't heard of this kind of hp from JR. I have a stock bottom end. I have been wanting to go turbo for awhile, but for 2,100 if I could have 247 whp I would definetly do this just for the price any comments on if this would work?
Also I once saw a setup for an intercooler on this site, does any one know where I can find it?

Re: Is this HP possible with the JR?? (integraty)
ummm.....he could very well get that hp.
my 2 cents, go turbo
cooling the intake air is a big deal with FI and jackson racing doest really have an option for that.
we have a supercharged type r in town a friend of mine running boost upgrade something like 7 lbs. and he only makes 204hp to the wheels, but thats on stock fuel and computer.
in the end its your choice....but if you always wanted to go turbo i would do that...
fast
cheap
reliable
pick 2

Re: Is this HP possible with the JR?? (integraty)
Yeah thats for sale by me. These turbo guys and their 300+ horsepower got me to go turbo. I'm selling the hondata since I need bigger injectors anyways. I thought I would get the AEM and some 720's. By the time I bought the datalogging for the hondata, turbo timer, boost controller it added up to be more. This was on a JDM type R engine so that may account for slighty higher numbers.
jdm type R
Kamikazi header/test pipe
MSD, 6 series plug
160 deg stat
hondata 3b
I can post the dyno sheet and datalog too!

Re: Is this HP possible with the JR?? (salt)
On a stock GSR with header, intake and exhaust 230-245HP are well with reach with a little tunning. I have tuned Type Rs to 238+hp at only 7.5 psi.
I have a B20Vtec in my car with 6.5psi the makes 255HP 192Tq. I am currently testing an intercooler that should bring those #s up quite a bit.

Re: Is this HP possible with the JR?? (CRVRX)
People have made 350+ whp on stock GSR longblocks with the Jackson Blower. Ask John (Vap0rtrail from Tampa, FL) about Kurt's Civic hatch... the thing flew... but it was definitely an exception.
EDIT: May have been 330-350, not positive... and nitrous was used as well.

Re: Is this HP possible with the JR?? (HybridKOOP)
A local guy here made 246 at the wheels in a GSR at 9 pounds using just an FMU. So it's definitely possible.
People hate on the Jackson WAY too much.. it has a lot of untapped potential if people would look into it a bit more. just my opionion though.

I dont' doubt its possible to hit 240+ whp on jrsc but it is rare
Im running jrsc at 6psi and I am putting 200whp hoping to hit 220+ with hondata
