Default Hp limits on stock sleeves?

Im installing Eagle rods and SRP 9:1 pistons in my boosted Z6 in a few weeks, i'll still be running the stock sleeves so my question is what kinda hp are the stockers capable of handling? I'd like to be in the 350-400whp range, is this possible? The car gets driven 2-3k miles a year so its not like it gets a ton of miles. Any info. is appriciated.

It's a piece of cake. You could even do it with an SC50.

You equally need a good tuner for 10psi.

lol, check the sig...it is very easy. and last time i checked a 57trim t3/t4 wasnt a big turbo lol only had 3 mods to the motor, vitara pistons, eagle rods, arp headstuds....25psi, 405whp 315tq. when i sold the car it was around 440whp (127mph traps in a car that weighed 2720 with me in it, you do the math lol)

Word, good info. Thats the same turbo im running, 57 trim t3/t4. How streetable was the car at 25psi? Are those #'s on pump gas? What size injectors? i'd be happy with 350whp but if i can safely go 400 or better that would be ****.

400+was on 110 octane...we have it at the pump in idaho so its what i ran daily. on 93 pump i ran it at 20psi safely, never dyno'd it on pump but im sure it was around 350-375 car was very streetable, better invest in a set of drag radials and an LSD is absolutely nessescary. injectors were presiscion 750's

i had trouble making over 330 whp on a stock a6 head with pump gas...i'd imagine the z6 would be a bit more forgiving, and make a bit more power on pump (93)

with race gas, i am confident i could have ran over 400 on the stock a6 sleeves/head

i had a bit of freak detonation with pump gas at about 24 psi.. i pushed it too far. i wouldnt use pump over 19-20 again on a d.. i daily drove the car for 15k at about 20 psi. great engine, i loved it. surprised a lot of people. i'm building something a bit wilder for this year. car ran 12.4's @118 MPH, got one 119 trap too. 2375 lbs w/ my fat butt

good #'s guys, all i was saying is it might be a bit impractical to race-gas only street car (for those of us only able to get 93 at the pump.)

yeah, i wish more places near me would have had race gas. i'd probably still have that engine cranking out great #s.

DONT push it too far on pump..sohc heads arent that good, and those engines are LIL

with B guys finding pump gas limits in the mid 400's, i'm not surprised our limits seem to be the mid-low 300s.. the engines just dont flow that well. they make up for it in economy though!
