What kind of power increase would you expect to see on a stock z6 with 10psi if i switch from a smic to a fmic?

 

58.6whp if it has non vtec piston return springs...90.1whp!! if it has vtec piston return springs..u can get vtec piston return springs from any stock 86 prelude si..GL

But honestly, getting rid of my DSM SMIC and putting in a front mount picked up some ponies on the butt dyno, but mostly on the top end. It was definitley a noticable difference. Even though I liked the sidemount, I don't think I will ever go back to one.

simple, mulitply the number of words in your post by 2.3 and that should get you really close.

 

there will be a gain.. but nothing to write home about

 

Only time I noticed a decent gain was when it was cold out.
