my turbo setup with no adapter plate who needs one, hehe. all of that only cost me $250 to piece together, test fit it on my z6 already, looks so sexy. hope to swap and boost pretty soon....

I'd like to see how well it works, and for how long. I do think you'll have problems with sealing as that's not quite the greatest mechanical clamping action going on there.
I've never cared for the bitch work of making an adapter plate. My $0.02? Weld a flange onto the manifold, and brace the turbo so the manifold doesn't support the weight of the turbo.

man is that a t25? if it is that is the exact same turbo i'm running but different manifold. will you still have your A/C on with that o2 housing? on mine i had to shave that **** down and the A/c a lil. will you be running 14psi i use washer to reduce it to 10.5psi.

i looked at how Bryson did it and it inspired me to do that and i didn't want to machine a frickin plate so i did this. he ran that setup in his car and his was more ghetto than mine. i'm going to weld the washers on the housing so they don't push out when i try to torque them down, this will create a new bolting surface that won't push out so i can torque the **** out of it, therefore preventing leaks.

heck if you're gonna weld, why not weld on a proper flange or mounts?

what does that mean? sorry from HI,
yeah i'll probably weld it or something, and i was going to make a braket to support it too, so don't worry, it won't fall off.
btw, will i still have to leave the gasket inbetween the turbo and the mani to seal it or will the weld be enough?
thanks for the help, comments and humor,

Re: hows this? too ghetto? (J. Davis)
nope can't run the ac on my z6 in my 91 hb cause the front driver side mount and the ac bracket are the same thing and get in the way of the stock wastgate actuator. besides couldn't run my piping and my compressor housing would be blowing and sucking my ac compressor .

Stock T25 boost is 8psi, i have 1. Eclipses get 12psi out of them because they have a factory electornic boost controller which is controlled by the ecu. The o2 housing clears the a/c on integras, but the wastegate hits the power s teering bracket.</TD></TR></TABLE>
uhh. mine shot pass 10psi , so is yours on yet? how does it run?
