Default how are the turbosmart wastegates?

How are they compared to the Tial 40mm and 46mm wastegates? They only offer a 45mm WG and it looks like it will be as good or better than other brands....It's not bolted to a flange either, they use a v-band design similar to the larger HKS GT WG's...for $385USD, you think it's a good buy?

I just called them and they said cost plus shipping to USA is probably gonna be around 400-450 bucks. Do you think that's worth it over a 40mm Tial?

I want something that I can use for HIgh boost also when My next motor is done for the racecar

For that price I would rather stick to something that is proven. I would hate to buy a wastegate from AU only to have to order replacement parts down the road, wait some ungodly amount of time to get it here or to pay some ungodly amount of money for shipping! I would stick with a Tial or HKS!

I believe Max-Rev was carrying Turbo Smart BOVs... it mentioned somewhere in that FAT post about their stainless manifolds. Maybe hit them up for wastegates?
