Default How to tune e-manage that come with the kit?

I have just bought a greddy turbokit + IC +BOV for my civic ex coupe 1996.
got a 3bar map sensor and 550cc injector with my buy.

It comes with E-manage and 310cc injectors.
How can i tune it?
Can i use a standard USB connection to my laptop?
Do i get the software with the kit?
Everyone is useing hondata, ems, neptune, crom etc. but i'm on a budget and planing on using the e-manage until i can afford pistons, rods and aem ems.

you need the emanage support tool and cable.
http://www.mohdparts.com/emanage/

you can download the support tool from the link torward the bottom of the page and if you do a search on google you can find instructions on how to turn a nokia phone attachmant cable into a support tool cable.

Its because the kits are carb exempt and the arb doesnt want people changing the tune. Plus they only sell the support tool kit (cable and software) seperatly. I dont know what it costs now but I paid about $100 for it back in 01.

Why is it that nothing is good on H-T? You have to have Hondata or AEM EMS, everything else is trash.

Greddy turbo kit is ****, bacause you can't get 300hp and everything is not flowing.

But if your are going to budget and only whant 170-200hp. you do not have the 50k build. I do not think so.

I'm only asking how i can tune it. not how i trow in the trash can.

BTW: I'm going to run 18" Gold rims on my ride
And yes the styling is going to be changed to buddyclub2, I know H-T user only like stock bumpers with Type-R bling. and 15" wheels

Sorry man, but that emanage blue is just junk. I've tuned it before and have experience with it. It sucks horribly. Its just a piggy back that modifys pulsewidth by tricking your ecu into seeing unrealistic map signals. At the same time its adjusting your fuel its also throwing your timing all outa whack so who knows how much you are actually running. You can just sell the emanage and use the money to buy a chipped ecu and obd1 conversion harness. Take it to somebody and get it tuned.

If you dont have anything useful to say to answer this guys question then why just not post. He didnt ask if it was junk... he asked how do you tune it.

The emanage will work for fine for what he wants. I use one on my civic and it runs perfectly. I get 45+mpg hwy and havent blown up since 2001. Its not the best option, but he didnt ask what is.

I'm trying to steer him in the right path. It doesn't cost hardly anything to get a chipped ecu. You can probably sell the emanage and pay for the ecu with that.
