ya and see its all the little things that add up too. but i am leaning more towards a b16 head jus cuz it will flow better and i plan on getting it port/polished and plus if the vtec does actually make a dif then why not the extra couple 100. its jus gonna cost out the *** for tuning. any suggestions??

then get gsr are cams. longer duration = more boost in the chamber. always going to be pros and cons.

tuning isnt that bad

tuning software, ecu, chips, sockets, ect that is what could run you into some money, depending on what you go with.

tuning is pretty univeral, around 500 given nothnig special is done and problems done arrise, it could be cheaper depends on the tuner and shop tho

some tuners will travel to you if you pay them extra.

eh how much whp\psi really depends on the motor that is being ran with. i dont think that right off the batthe peakboost will run 20whp per psi of boost. but it also depends on compression ratios you are running too.

high compression=less psi to make power.
low compression= more psi to make power.

now that is where how much whp per psi of boost will yeild you.

piece it together, but it doesnt mean its going to be cheaper than buying a kit, becuase you can get quality parts and piece together a superkit. but klike i said doesnt mean it will be cheaper.

as for compression for boost, somewhere in the 9s are good

ya thats what i was thinking but it would also be nice to jus get everything at once that way i would have everything and not worry about other things but i probly could peice together a better kit.

maybe, but its always the little things that you dont think of.

ie:
axles
headstuds
flywheel
clutch

those are just the things that are needed when going turbo or turboing a motor. axles for torque, clutch for power and torque, flywheel (not really needed but needed),headstuds and headgasket for boosted application.

when you start making power all the oem things break so its good to replace the things that could break off the bat so you dont have to do things over and over

when i first started building motors it was such a journey, all the little things you forget and the seem so small yet become a huge pain in the *** when it comes down to it lol

eh they are overated if you ask me, i have heard of a few ppl with cracking manifolds, and for the price the manifold should be your strongest point on a turbo kit, manifolds can make or break a kit, physically and literally.

you would have to really define quality, there are many people who have a different opinion about quality parts lol
