How to polish piping

Got some aluminum piping from KTeller. Was wondering how to go about polishing it. I started with 600 grit and some water, but gaddam after a hour it was still a little rough. Any recommendations? Thx.

use a buffer.

just keep sanding it with finer grid sandpaper up to 2000. Than use some polishing wax. Make it a weekend job.
