How much do you pay for dyno time per hour in your area??
I was just wondering what everyone else in other parts of the country is having to pay for dyno time per hour.
Like me for instance, I went to Strictly Performance here in Houston and they lowered there price to $75.00 an hour with the use of the wideband. Even though it's a mustang shop, you can't beat that price. Shops that cater to imports like Carboy charges $200.00 an hour !
So where are you from and how much are you paying?

$65/hr at xoticmotorsports.com or $75 at a localshop around here with wideband.
With the rate of $50/hr of tuning that boosted hybrid charges....I can basically get my car tuned on street and dynoed for around $300 and walk home a happy man.

damn you all are gettin raped I only pay $60 and that's for up to 2hrs, and it's a sweeet dyno. Although he usually charges people $80 per hr guess it helps to be a friend of his

Locally it's about 100/hour with wideband and no tuning. David, Lawrence mentioned getting a dyno just down the street from his shop. Do you know if he got it yet? I'll probably be going back to Strickly since they dropped their rate to 75/hour.

InlinePro charges....$99 for 3 power pulls, $130 for 3 dyno runs w/ a/f and $65 for tuning...dont know any other places around No.Va besides Autothority that has a dyno...someone said CDE has one, but i cant confirm this...i wish it was $65 bucks like boosted_hybrids

Re: How much do you pay for dyno time per hour in your area?? (TheSwift1)
Payn Tech charges 180 per hour on a Mustang Dyno which belongs to another shop. when they get their own dyno installed in their new shop, I think it's going to be around 160 per hour.
I just got mine done from payn, got 199.6HP and 139.6TQ at only 5psi on a Mustang Dyno. They did a damn good job, and the numbers sound great for only 5psi. I'll be going back there again soon, as soon as I ... fix my boost controller. Apparently it's hooked up backwards or something.
Hey.. I didn't install it!

But yeah when I was calling around town a few weeks ago, Carboy, once again , quoted me at $200.00 an hour just to rent the damn thing. I don't know what's up with Jackie, I mean the is nothing prestigious to me about going to Carboy .
Oh and then I call back the next day looking for VP C16. Seems like everyone around Houston is carrying Sunoco, so I was refered to Carboy by another shop. Jackie told me $9.00 a gallon. I got quoted $6.50 from S&S Racing, and $7.00 from Lawrences shop! I was like WTF! I guess they feel everyones a sucker walking through the door, CARBOY !

FREE :D well I worked there though....
Normally its between 100-150 and hour for the dyno.... Then if you want it tuned and have the dyno rented its between 120-245 an hour (including dyno).
Minneapolis MN

Looks like I'm mid way in the pack.
125 for the first hour
100 each additional hour
includes wideband and my tuning skills/experience if desired.
I don't know how anyone makes money charging 65 an hour though. I tried doing that it didnt work
