how much difference between these turbos
on a d16z6
I have a t3/t4OE 50 trim has 3" inlet and 2" out let .60 ar compressor and .48 ar turbine.
how much difference would it make powerwise at the same boost levels (I run 17 psi daily, 21 track) on a precision sc6152 with the s-cover 4" inlet 2.5 outlet compressor and .63 ar turbine.
is it worth it
and about how much more laggy will it be rpm wise
people with sc61 or equall please respond
ps going on topmount mani with 4" downpipe

Re: how much difference between these turbos (alexsracing)
Here is the deal. D-series are small bore, small displacement, lower VE engines. They don't like big turbos at all. An SC61 will suck on a D-series unless its built for full race trim and even then, it will still probably suck more than most would like. Stick with a 50 trim wheel. It will support well over 400hp and offer a much broader powerband. 50 trim t04e wheel is a great wheel.

my goal is low 11's, and I think the 50 trim's .48 a/r turbine may choke at 25 psi and not make as much as an sc61.
I will also have a race head that will go to 9k
and my block has pistons and rods
