Hi, I was wondering how much boost a stock D16A1 can safely handle from a t04b35? Im not really in no hurry, just lookin to convert back to fuel injection and turbo sometime down the road. Hmmm, possible draw through carb setup maybe. If I go fuel injected either gonna use the stock honda stuff or go g.m. throttle body. Both would be with a megasquirt.

HA, funny ****. I tried to search the faq and after every word I put in it said, "Sorry - no matches. Please try some different terms." I tried zc boost, honda, honda crx, so yea the faq search effing sucks. I always look before I leap but this site has the worst search "feature" I have ever seen,Oh yea, its a honda site no wonder.

noone can tell you how much boost will be to much because engines arent identicle and some can run 20psi, and others blow on 9psi

build it then tune it the tuning will be your biggest factor in determining what amount of boost you run

So 50 huh? lmao. I know the tune is the biggest factor in longevity of an engine but I fugured I would ask seeing as I have heard that this particular engine has a weak bottom end in stock form. Im only lookin fo 5-10 wich is probably not the most effecient range for this turbo anyway. Oh well if all else fails with this it will be goin on the rx7.
