i was wondering how much boost a stock gsr crank can handle?

i have really no clue i want to turbo my car towards the end of summer i heard some one say that a stock gsr crank could handle 30 lbs but i really didnt know i know things need to be built to handle boost but i didnt know if a crank was one of them

Honda cranks are very strong in stock form. But what you should really be concerned with is horsepower, not pounds of boost.

My friend ran 17lbs on a stock GSR motor... but blew it up after about 17 months.

He has a lead foot..

So I assume you can do 17lbs+ for as long as you want, as long as you're not in boost everytime you touch the gas.

did his crank break? probably something else let go before the crank. did you even read the OP's post?
