How many of you are at or close to 400bhp street drivin
I was just curious to see how many turbo honda monsters are lurcking the streets.. I'm almost done with mine, so we will be able to add one more to the list...

When you say 400bhp Street Driven do you mean making that much horsepower using pump gas, eg. 92 octaine?

was there about 3-4yrs ago ... 474hp on 93 octane fuel and 514hp on cam2 116.
daily street drive ... Super Street Magazine, August 2000 issue, look under "The FROG" ... look on the burnout photo on the and you'll see the EZ-Pass on the windshield

Greg, just curious were you able to do anything with the TWM Individual Throttle Body Kit I sold you awhile back? Nice to hear from you.

Greg, 474hp on 93 octane fuel, must all come down to tuning. What fuel mgmt. were you using for that setup and how much were you boosting? Thanks, Greg.

hey, doing fine thanks, building a street setup with that, my race setup is whats been taking up all my time.
I used the old Accel DFI system, ran 24 psi boost on the 93 octane. My static compression ratio was somewhere in the 7.8:1 range.. extremely low. But, yes tuning is KING, tune it for 10psi then for 15psi then for 18psi then for 22psi then for 24psi and thats where the turbo maxed out.

422 @ 19psi b/c my intercooler wasn't efficient anymore. Once I get my bigger intercooler and dial the boost up, I'm sure I'll be well over 450. And yes, its my daily driver, my only driver, oh wait, thats right, I just bought an R1. Now I have two toys to play with.
