how many PSI to make 300 WHP?
ok guys my friend was (trying) to tell me about some guy that was making 300 WHP with a GSR (eagle rods w/JE pistions PnP) and all that other shet. Can he make 300 WHP with 7PSI or is he on crack!!

Louis Anaya (TurbochargedSER) tuned a B18C with JE pistons and Eagle Rods and a very big T3/T4 turbo to 375whp with only 7 psi of boost. If you tried that with a DSM turbo or a straight T3, the turbo would probably kill itself trying.

i know a guy putting down 465whp with ONLY 11psi on a gsr.... tuning rocks.

Totally depends on the setup, I had my Integ dynoed a few weeks ago, I have a Rev Hard stage 2, 310 Injectors, VAFC. 255lph pump and a bone stock 95 GSR engine. I was also using 93 octane gas.
~~First Dyno pull was 274hp @ 10 psi
~~Second was 283 @ 10 psi
~~Third was 289@11 psi.
Hope that helps, that was stock compression and everything.

what turbo?
thats the key question here, WHICH TURBOS can produce this power?
has to be at least a T3/TOE id say.

My buddy here's got a mid 9:1 compression GSR with skunk2 manifold, 60-1 turbo, and made 298 at the wheels at his reported 11 PSI.
I believe him, his car hauls ***.

I know at 8lbs i am making a bit over 300whp on my custom set-up running 11:1 compression on a b16a. The head is ported, skunk2 intake manifold as well as a 60-1 t3. I know running 14lbs of boost i should be laying down hopefully near 400whp, not bad for a little 1.6L. Compression and turbo size become the key factor is laying down big horsepower #'s, as well as displacement (gsr stamped out to 2.0) and flow of the head.

holy shiat! 11:1 with 14PSI?? christ! How can this be safely done? I have a B16 and I am scared to boost at all on that (10.4:1) compression.

t3 60-1???? whats that...isnt it a t3 super 60 or a t4 60-1???? which are very different turbos
so all it really is is a t3/t04b 60-1

I'm almost finished building my B18C1 11.5:1 and plan on running 10-12psi on pump gas. Just say B00 to FMU!
