Is there a disadvantage with a setup like this?? I mean more along the lines of throttle response?

That's similar to the setup I'm running...the LoveFab Sidewinder. You can read all about it by clicking the link im my sig [92 Civic VX...blah blah blah].

The only disadvantages I had with this manifold was upper radiator hose fittment. It's a bitch. You're going to have to get creative and either piece together your own hose, or better yet get an aluminum radiator with a custom endtank where they relocate the neck.

i got rid of my ac when it quit working and was going to be like $1100 to fix but now i am using the revhard equal lenght manifold and i'm sure it would work with ac.

We will have one ready within a few weeks as well, although its a little more than most people will need.

for people that are too lazy to click that thread a 4" downpipe will fit very neatly between the manifold and AC condenser/radiator.
