How to hook up 1G DSM BOV
I searched but there aren't any pic's of what you're suppose to do to hook up a 1G DSM BOV. You have the lil pipe on top and then the big pipe right below it. Do i have to hook anything up either of these pipes. Such as a vaccum or something. I know the DSM guys hook up a tube to the top one and run it back into the system somehow but i want it to be a open atmosphere setup. Help is appriciated
small port on top gets hooked up to a manifold vac source. nothing gets hooked up to the big one if you want it to vent into the atmosphere. If you want to recirculate it then you would hook up a tube from the big bort on the BOV to the intake just after the air filter.
Little pipe on top is the vaccum port. Vaccum line goes there. Big hole is just for the pressure release. DSM guys reroute it back into their intake but us Honda guys don't need to.
