How high do you rev your turbo car?
Getting ready to start boosting my B16, running an SC61 so I need all the RPMs I can get to make power. Keep in mind I will be upgrading my valvetrain. How high do most of you rev your boosted cars and still stay safe?

9k is the limiter set up on my Z-Dyne... She loves it.
SCREAMS around when passing traffic with the wastegate blaring.
GSR cams, balanced ITR valve springs from 2 full sets, the rest in the head is stock 1989 b16a.

Thats the good thing about a turbo car, no need for the cams to make power when the snail is making it

Re: How high do you rev your turbo car? (Muckman)
i rev to 8000 rpms on my b18c1 with je pistons and eagle rods. i dont like going above 8000 rpms at 18-20 psi on stock valve train. until i get upgraded valve train i will stay at 8000 rpms unless i am wrong.... can i rev a lil higher on stock valve train and still be safe?

I'll be keeping it under 9K later(after I finish breaking in the engine) even though my head is built because of my stock Sleeves

Would it not be safe for my B16 to rev high with stock sleeves, perfect R/S ratio?
