How high do you rev your built LS?
I'm sure this thread has been done before. . . but the search feature is too friendly about 3 letter words, "rev" being the key word here. . . and I am having a hard time finding posts on the topic as a result.
Anyways, I'm running a built top and bottom end. The head is ported.
How high are you guys with similar setups reving?
I would like to eeek my power band out to 9k if possible - looking forward to some feedback.
Thanks guys

built/balanced bottom end + valvetrain that can handle 9k rpms and your fine..
Just make sure you port the **** out of the head and get some wicked cams cause LS doesn't like the high revs as-is

My primary concern isn't going to be making power up there (I'm fairly confident in the port job I got and that the crower 402t's will help me make power that high)
My main concern however was the rocker arm assembly of the LS head. . .
I am wondering if the LS rocker arm assembly is stable at 9k? Anyone have any bad experiences with this?
