Im trying to install the msd cap convertor,. so it has a external coil..but ****.. i cant seem tto take the rotor off, i dont wanna break it..can some help me?

 

isint there a screw holding it in? i think its easier to get to if u remove the distributor (5 min)

 

the screw is in there TIGHT

and make sure when you put it back on you TIGHTEN THAT BITCH HARD

i was racing a supercharged s2k on the freeway and my ignition rotor broke off

 

ugh. i might go check mine

 

you may have to either roll the car forward, so the button turns, otherwise you cant get at the screw.

 

crank the car so that the rotor turns, and the 1 screw is exposed. then u can unscrew it off

 

thanks guys i got it off.. now.. do any of you have a crane ignition? do u know where the red and the white wire goes? i got everything else, im just not sure if it connects to the wires that used to connect the old coil...?

 

i was really lucky when i took mine out, it was in a perfect spot to get to. took me ten seconds to get it out, took my friend two hours.
