i agree the deal doesnt seem too good to be true... the guy most likely buys the cores and does the rest of the work himself... look @ the welds on the second pic in the auction...
not bad for the price... i got my drag3 for 450 shipped
my .02

yeah but for $300 and the intercoolers are 3inches thick I think they are a good deal for the money. How thick are the drag units?

Just got mine yesterday, no brackets anywhere. Not a bit deal, I figured I'd have to have them welded on anyway. It looks to me like a very nice unit. I'll post Pics of it tonight.

These were the ones I sold on a groupbuy long time ago...

It didn't come with mounts, we needed to make our own.. it's damn easy.. just to go home depot and get some alumnium plate, bend it, weld it, mount it

it was around 320 shipped in the groupbuy...

I have been using this IC with no problems, no pressure job.. very good units...

I was going to sell these ICs for them, but then their prices went up, it's too hard for me to find buyers, so I gave up.

These are cut cores as you can see in the picture, but to me, it doesn't make a difference...

by the way, these guys are from montreal, not USA... but it doesn't make a difference

good luck, it's a good product

Crap! Oh well.... I'll head to Home Depot and make some brackets no big deal. Its a nice IC for a nice price either way.

post up some pics if you have a camera, I would like to see it up close before I commit to buying one. And are the top and bottom finished with metal or rough fins?

i have the same IC on my car, its a spearco, works very good, one end tanks is warm, the other is cold
the IC is a basic design, just rows and fins, its the measruements and end tanks that make them differ

I wouldn't recommend you request the mounts to be mounted by them
Because there are always some errors with the measurements you gave them...
I would suggest, measure it, then weld right after...

but you already requested it.. so.. good luck and let us know how it goes

The top and the bottom are finished, (not rough fins) It looks like a very nice unit, I can't wait to get it in my car. Shipping did take a while from CA (Canada), but it was worth it.

Edit: CA meant Canada

Not the same, that's a tube and fin IC not a Bar and Plate. I can't believe that guy isn't on ebay anymore. If you want one, email him here and ask if he is still doing them: xtremecoolers@yahoo.com

It should be no problem. A friend just got the Greddy Intercooler for his GSR...very nice. Expensive though...$700.

i knew that description looked familiar. theres a groupbuy on it for much more on groupbuycenter.

http://www.groupbuycenter.com/buy.aspx?id=7854

looks like you guys got a deal compared to how much they're selling it on GBC.
