Default how to go turbo on a d16z6?

planning to go turbo on my 98 ek coupe has a d16z6 with stock internals
motor has around 90k.

I am going to be doing the work my self, and its going to be a budget built.

Can you guys help me with what exactly im going to need?

Im planning to be running on about 6 psi of boost and its going to be daily driven.

so i was hoping i can use some stock parts, like injectors n ecu.

since Ive never messed with turbos can someone give me a list of what exactly i need to get started.

i got all tools needed i use to work on big rigs.

If there is a link that some one on here has done it before please post it.

Thanx_

Research. Research. Research. Did I say research? It took me a whole YEAR or research before I finally went turbo. Stock Y8. 6 PSI on a 15g Greddy turbo. Daily driver. Looking for a spare block to build for reliable boost.

Honestly you will get so many conflicting answers on this forum that you will be more confused than when you started. Find someone with a similar setup to yours and model your build off of that.

Yeah. 6psi of boost is irrelevant. 6 psi of boost in one turbine is not the same in another....

My advice though is to research a lot so you can learn from other peoples mistakes. Simply put you should piece it yourself, dont get a kit. Get quality couplers, pipeing, get it tuned as soon as you it can after its installed, if you get used turbine, check for shaft play and pick the right exhaust manifold too. Some will let u keep ac, ps. Some will give you more top end or some will give better low end. Some will lag more or less but also lower output. Find whats right for you!
