Default How does this manifold look?

Looks like a spoolin performance quick4 manifold, but the welds don't look to be of the same quality...?
Looking for some better trained eyes to check it out.

?

This is Honda Tech where welding inspectors who can judge the quality and integrity of a weld by quickly glancing at a picture online hang out and discuss cars They need to know who made it and how much it cost first normally though to make a assesment.

I hate how people jump to conclusions...just because you paid more doesn't mean you got a better product. I know most people instantly shun anything made by CCFab, but if people were to take the time to evaluate products, there wouldn't be as much **** talking on this site...i have a CCFab topmount and i love it

SLS is local to me and i'll vouch for their good work, but i've heard a few different things that make them out to be shady...i'm not sure if that's true or not, but i think they're a good company. I know Nick and i've seen "his" work multiple times...its nice stuff so i've heard

EDIT:

I'm referring to a few posts made on this site...i personally dont find their stuff to be shady. Check my sig and you'll notice that i have a personal vouch for them. They are local and i do know they create good products.

Once again, it's hard to judge anything based on a 1 shot online pic. That picture above is of the weld at the flange, which tends to be the easiest welds, that often are easiest to make look pretty if your welding is marginal. Runner welds are more difficult and it shows in that pic, because that runner weld looks sloppy.

Either way though, that doesn't mean it'll hold, nor does it mean it'll hold if the weld is gorgeous. It comes down to the penetration of the weld, so the inside tells more of a story than the outside does. If there's no sign of a weld on the inside, it could be trouble.

Bolt it up and use it, should be fine dude. Everyone on here worries too much about how welds look vs. the actual quality of the weld.

Dosent CCfab usually TIG his name on the runners or something? I always remember his stuff having his name on it.. ?

looks to be CC-fab or CSaddict . cuz they use the laser cut 3/8 flanges and the welds look to be theirs

Everyone is alway absessed with looks, if the damn thing allows you to boost, then F*ck it! I'm so tired of little premadonnas that have to have everything so damn perfect, as long as the welds penetrated properly thing slap it on and drive. Go to the cosmetic section and cry to them..............

Besides I would just throw a some header wrap on there anyways
