How does a .036 Cometic Head Gasket affect Cam Timing?

How does a .036 Cometic Head Gasket affect Cam Timing?
The reason I am asking is because I am using one with stock GSR cams and the cam timing is slightly off with respect to the Crank setting mark. I would say about half a tooth. What should I do?
