How do you seal a leaking AN fitting?
I'm using a 90 degree 12 AN fitting as part of my oil return. The fitting is leaking a small puddle of oil. I've made the fitting as tight as I could make it, and it's still leaking. What can I do to fix that? I was thinking about just JB welding it. But any other suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
It's leaking where I drew the arrow.

you may have over tightened it and cracked it. Don't feel bad, I've done it a few times. You're gonna have to replace the fitting.

they are soft aluminum so it might become deformed when over-tightened causing it to leak. also its possible that using mismatched fittings could cause a leak but not very probable

It doesn't seal there, it seals when you tighten it to the bung on the tapered conical area. If you understand where I am talking about. So you might need a new bung and fitting, unless the bung is steel (which it most likely is because most honda pans are steel) in which case the aluminum fitting probably got messed up and the bung is probably fine.
