Default how to do you know when to bore a block?

if i run my finger nail on it i could feel it if as i go around the cylinder. its like a

Can honing cure it? or does it need to be Bored?

IF you rub your finger around the cylinders and yer finger feels any marks, if your fingernail stops on the mark, then bore it, if its just a light light scratch, then hone it, then try the finger test again...should help

if the scratch is big enough to stop your fingernail definitely bore it. or if its a bunch of little scratches you might get away with honing it.
